Each Peyón is carefully handcrafted with colorful threads and beautiful patterns. They are crafted with one single thread and a tight stitch, which makes the Peyóns unique in their details and durability.

This bag is single thread and takes about 25-30 days to make.
This bag specifically is made by master artisan Jalyanaia and her team of skilled weavers,
known for making the Wayuu bags in silk.
This size is a medium and has a beautiful shiny silver and black combination.
They often elaborate these beautiful pieces of art in very hard living conditions.
The Wayuu culture is rich in symbolism, tradition and follows a matriarchal society and way of living. These bags are very durable, can be washed on a gentle cycle in washing machine and tolerate a lot of weight. It is made of acrylic tread.
